CareRide UK was founded after witnessing first-hand how difficult it can be for elderly patients and those with medical needs to secure reliable, non-emergency transport to their appointments. Too often, people were missing vital medical visits simply because they had no safe way to get there — or because the transport they had arranged failed them at the last moment.
We built CareRide UK to address that gap directly. Our service exists to give patients, their families and care providers the confidence that transport will be arranged, on time, at a fair and confirmed price — every single time.
We operate across Chelmsford and the surrounding Essex area, providing pre-booked door-to-door transport for hospital appointments, GP visits, hospital discharges and care home travel. Everything we do is guided by three principles: reliability, respect, and safety.
